So I found out that my bike has no oil visible from sight glass and it sounded really rough. Bought it brand new (2015 cbr300 leftover model, all recalls were done) back in February this year, first service done at 600 miles, dealer did it, engine oil was at top level after service. Owner's manual suggests 8000 miles oil change interval, so I only checked it like once until this morning. Added 1 quarter oil, and now it sits in the middle of the upper and lower mark. I put a cardboard underneath it and waited several hours, doesn't seem to have oil leak. It has 4800 miles: 2000 highway miles, 1000ish of those are full throttle/top gear long hours near red line cruising. About 1500 miles are 40mph city stop and go traffic. The rest are 40mph-70mph twisties. Whenever I need to accelerate, I always go full throttle until reaches desired speed. Is it normal? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References www.cbr300forum.com/forum/warranty-service-issues/23298-my-bike-losing-engine-oil.htmlTechnology Explainer Video
